Commission - A Sibling Rivalry

“Rhea will you please hurry up?!” shouted Trish upstairs to her younger sister “we were supposed to leave at 10am and it is now 10:15, you are making us late!”

“Gimme a break will ya?! I’m just getting dressed.” Came the reply

“You should have been dressed before we got here! What are you even doing up there?!”

“Look! I’m having a little trouble with my pants okay?!” This bought a snigger from Trish’s boyfriend Garrett which was quickly silenced by a glare from his girlfriend.

“Just hurry up!” shouted Trish, “Ugh did you see how fat she’s gotten? She wouldn’t be having trouble with her pants if she could stop shovelling food in her mouth” Trish quipped at Garrett

“It’s probably that boyfriend of hers, what’s his name? Donny?”

“I told her how fat she was looking last time I saw her, if she listened to me she’d have slimmed down some, and don’t get me started on that dork; seriously, the girl should have higher standards. Can you believe they’ve been dating since college?!”

“She was probably a fair bit slimmer then too I’m guessing?”

“Yeah as a matter of fact I was Garrett, not that it’s got anything to do with you.”

Aspire part 2

“Daniel! What the fuck?!” I screamed, half out of shock and half out of my exasperation at the whole situation.

"What's going on here?!"

"I could ask you the same thing" replied Daniel casually "but I suppose I can explain myself before you explain yourself"

My cheeks flushed as I realised I must look quite foolish making demands in my current situation. I quickly changed back into my own clothes while he watched me with a wry smile on his face. I felt embarrassed that he’d caught me in such a compromising position but still annoyed that I’d found these items.

“Well?” I asked as I regained my composure “start talking”

One Last Gift

A short follow up to the festive themed commission I wrote Ho Ho Ho! read that one first!

Ah Boxing Day, you know in years past it was a day associated with the hunt and I couldn’t help but feel a smug self-satisfaction that my hunt, a hunt I’d tried so often, had finally been a success just days before.

Commission - Ho Ho Ho!

‘Twas the night before Christmas but you know that story don’t you? No, instead let me tell you a tale that ended in a very “good night”

Our old friend Saint Nick was doing his usual yearly rounds of dropping into families chimney pots and delivering armfuls of presents for ungrateful, snot nosed brats. Touring the entire globe in one night is tiring work you know, the man only gets cookies and milk to keep him going, the occasional mince pie and glass of sherry… or glass of port, it’s a wonder he didn’t make a mistake sooner.

Aspire

“Those look a little big on you” he smirked
“Daniel! What the fuck?!”

I had been busted.

It had started as a bit of innocent snooping. I’d been going out with Dan for a couple of months now, we had started getting more comfortable around each other, comfortable enough to leave each other unattended in our respective apartments.
It was one of those days, he had to work and I had the day off, I’d opted to stay at his rather than go home just to come back later.
My curiosity had gotten the better of me and I’d decided to have a look around.

A Little Advice

Molly sat waiting impatiently, as if it wasn’t bad enough that she had been hauled into the job centre when she was supposed to be working, she was now waiting for her advisor who was running late.
She couldn’t hide her displeasure as her advisor made her way back from her break.
“Oh sorry I’m running a little late, do you want to come over?”
“That’s okay” replied Molly “But I do have to get back to work so if we could move along quickly”

Her advisor preceded with her interview asking the same old questions she had heard a million times when she was unemployed, this infuriated Molly.
“Is this all really necessary? I’ve been in work for nearly a year now, I don’t need a coach or an advisor, being here is costing me money”
“Oh well that doesn’t seem right, let me just check your record”
“Unbelievable” muttered Molly under her breath
“It seems like you missed a lot of work last month can you tell me about that?”
“Oh it was nothing really, I had some surgery and caught the flu, no big deal”
“I have to remind you Molly that any changes in circumstances need to be reported to your advisor”
“There were no changes in circumstances” Molly spat back “I was ill, my job didn’t have a problem with it”
“That may be the case but you still have to follow the points agreed to in your jobseekers agreement and one of those is that you are available for work for at least…”
