Commission - Wrath of the Goddess

Who wants to live forever?

It's the question I was posed when I died so many years ago, so long I can't even remember what year it was. It seemed like a no brainer as I sat there, humbled before the beings that humans have come to recognise as God and the Devil.

I'd lived a life too bad for heaven and too good for hell, a dead heat, they couldn't decide where I'd go and so I was given a choice, spend eternity in purgatory, a solitary being OR, and this was where it got good, I could be returned to earth to live amongst the populous, I'd slide straight back into my old life, as if I'd never died. Only now, now I'd be different. A demigoddess I guess you'd call it.

I think about that classic Queen song when I remember how quick I was to agree. I had the chance to live a life so many dreamed about and gladly accepted. The next thing I knew I'd woken in the morgue of the hospital I had died in after the accident.

Commission - A Happy Home

You know, my life used to be pretty sweet. Me and my best friend Tatiana moved to the city about a year ago to find success, love, money and to generally just have a good time. Which was cool at first but things changed pretty quickly. At least for one of us.

Tati found work quickly while I remained luckless. I was happy for her for sure, but I found myself alone a lot of the time. Our nights out became less frequent because she was tired from work, I hadn't made any new friends because I did little else but interviews and hang out with Tati.

Things got even worse when Tati started hanging out with work friends after her shifts. I was spending even more time on my own now, I started to become withdrawn and my general mood was pretty low. Then my luck changed, but it wasn't for the better.

Commission - Fall From Grace

"Really, this threat has to be taken with the utmost seriousness" remarked the constable, slamming his fist on the table to emphasise his point. "The sheer number of these insurgents that we have uncovered is truly astonishing... I'm afraid to say that intelligence has failed in its job at a catastrophic level and this plot is a very real and credible threat!"

The faces that surrounded the table were as solemn in appearance as they were notable, the Prime Minister as well as high ranking members of parliament, the nation's top security specialists and most importantly the Queen herself. It was Her Majesty that broke the silence.

"So essentially no-one knows why they want us dead, no-one knows who they are and what their plans are. All you have are poorly coded messages to go on?"

"With all due respect Ma'am, the incidents at Sandringham, Balmoral and St James's just this morning would prove that this group of anti-royalists are not messing around" stated one of the security chiefs "we were lucky that none of the family were present but many lives were still lost, it is imperative that we action evacuation protocols immediately with your consent"

Commission - The Price of Piggyness

When Emilia didn't turn up for the costume party there was plenty of talk. She was normally the centre of attention and even in her absence this was still the case. For those that envied her it was a chance to spread malicious rumours and for her loyal band of followers the night was spent with a continuing theme – Where's Emilia?!

What's going on?

Well it's been a while since I last posted and I thought I should update everyone.
I've not been well, been on some painkillers that have made it pretty much impossible to do anything of any use.
I'm on the mend though, slowly but surely.
I have something to post that I finished before all this so that will be posted sometime today.
To my commissioners, I'm so very grateful for your understanding and patience, I'm not normally so late with my work.
Once I've finished my commission that I'm currently working on i'll be working on a finish to My Girlfriend's Girlfriend as voted on in the poll, thanks everyone who voted.
